Ershov Institute of Informatics Systems of Siberian Department of Russian Academy of Science organizes workshop "Science Intensive Applied Software" within the framework of "Seventh International Andrei Ershov Memorial Conference "PERSPECTIVES OF SYSTEM INFORMATICS"". The conference will be held in Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk. Theses of paper from our company were accepted for this seminar.

We are very glad to the coming of spring and with great pleasure have celebrated all the holidays: the 23rd of February, the 8th of March and the Pancake week. In contrast to the first two holidays traditionally celebrated by our company at the office, on the Pancake week some of us participated in outdoor folk festival!

At the annual conference-and-contest of students, post-graduates and young scientists  " Microsoft Technologies in theory and practice of programming " (Novosibirsk, Academgorodok) our employees Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences E.S.Cheremushkin and A.U.Paljanov were scientific advisors of studies of  NSU student  A.A. Dibert  "Computer modelling of muscular and nervous systems of nematoda C.Elegals ", S.S.Krajnikovsky and D.N.Shtokalo  represented the article " Analysis and data processing in problems of search of microRNA binding sites " under a scientific advisement Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences F.A.Murzin.

There was a great New Year celebration in our company. All the staff, including recently hired people, and friends of the company participated.

We participated in exhibition " Sibpolytech 2007 " (International Exhibition of Science Intensive Products & Innovations), representing A.P.Ershov Institute of Informatics Systems of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science, on the basis of which our company has been established. Our developments have been marked by the competition jury and the institute was given the Silver medal of the Siberian fair for development of the domestic software for  signal processing of nuclear logging of wells. Congratulations to F.A.Murzin and the developers participated in the project!

The representative of our company has taken part in conference "Small business and entrepreneurship of Novosibirsk on a threshold of the joining of Russia to WTO" which took place in the House of Scientists of the Academgorodok.

We have marked the Birthday of our company by celebratory heat on the Ob sea up to island Tan-Van! To reach the island from the Central beach of the Academgorodok employees of the company used various swimming tools: catamarans, boats, flippers, inflatable mattresses.

There was a sport event on the beach. We all had fan there whatching boat modelling competition, aquabike races, swimming competition, sailing regatta. We enjoyed avia show in the end.

The Leading Developer of our company Tagir Valeev defended his Ph.D. thesis “Algorithms and software tools for gene regulation research”. Congratulations!

Celebrating of the 50 anniversary of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science. We have taken part in the organization of demonstration (have provided with the baloons the employees of the Institute of Information Systems). And also we have personally attended the demonstration, a concert near the House of Scientists and celebratory fireworks.

We participated in the Third Siberian Forum " The Industry of Information Systems ", devoted to development of modern information and communication technologies and creation of technopark in a Novosibirsk Academgorodok.

All the company staff went on picnic to the Botanical garden. We have celebrated the Spring coming, Day of Cosmonautics and so on.

On the First International Conference on Natural Computation (China) we presented results of our work entitled “Composite Module Analyst: Tool for Prediction of DNA Transcription Regulation. Testing on Simulated Data” made in collaboration with BIOBASE GmbH (Germany).
